  1. This is more down my alley. I believe a child can have an imaginary friend without being a genius, and can have one and not be crazy. Every child is different, so why can't their imaginary friends be that way as well. My oldest daughter had an imaginary friend who had bright pink hair. At the time, she was an only child, and she is super smart. She tests really high at school on their reading and math tests. As of right now, she's testing two to three years higher than the rest of her classmates. For a while I thought her friend was a sign of intelligence, But now, I just think it is a normal thing for a child to go through.This article basically says what I believe!
